Closed for essential training 30/4/25

The surgery will be closed for essential training today from 2.30pm-6.30pm. For medical emergencies during this time please call 111.

Minor surgery – joint injections, ingrowing toe nails, sebaceous cysts and irritating and infected skin tags – service to patients

We are now able to offer appointments on some Wednesday mornings for the removal of minor problems such as:

  • Ingrowing toe nails
  • Symptomatic skin tags (so those that catch on clothing, are an irritation and become regularly infected)
  • Sebaceous cysts
  • Small lumps and bumps such as lipomas, which are small fatty lumps that form under the skin and proving irritating and can become infected
  • Joint injections for example (this is not an exhaustive list): trigger finger, knee osteo-arthritis, frozen shoulders

If you would like to use this service then please send a message using the Accurx service. We may ask you to provide a photograph or more information.

These requests will be reviewed by a GP to check if you are eligible and this is the correct treatment. You may be asked for further information and put on a waiting list.
